The DVR is specifically designed for use on board mobile vehicles, such as cars, aircraft and boats.
In the CCTV industry, these devices are called MDVR (Mobile Digital Video Recorder) and are actually very different from our standard DVR for analog cameras. In particular, casing, terminals and memory slots are designed to bear strong vibrations and extreme climatic conditions.
These MDVRs are compatible with all analog CVBS or AHD cameras. CVBS is the classic analog video format and is still the most widely used on vehicles, with small monitors.
If you look for the highest resolution, you can choose the AHD format, the high-resolution analog video, that get up to 1MP 720P and 2MP 1080P resolution.
These MDVRs can manage any type of analog camera, both traditional CVBS and AHD, up to 2MP resolution. Obviously the perfect match is with our vehicle cameras, however, if you use the MDVR on a boat or a heavy vehicle, you can connect any camera for traditional AHD systems. If you buy an MDVR model with a network port, you can also connect IP cameras up to 2MP.

1.Q: Does the MDVR support Hard drive and SD card?
A: Yes, HDD version MDVR supports SSD, HDD, and SD card. SD card version MDVR supports max 2 SD card.
The storage capacity can be from 32GB to 2TB.
2.Q: Is it difficult to install MDVR into the vehicle?
A: Actually it is easy to install it into vehicle. Most driver can figure out how to connect the power cables.
And the camera installation is more easy. Just screw, connect and mount on the target place inside the vehicle.
3.Q: If I need door open and close alarm, overspeed alarm, reverse video, brake video, left-turn video, right-turn video, etc,
is it available?
A: Definitely yes!
The I/O RS232 and 485 extension port is for all expanded purposes, including the functions above.
In fact, there are more customized functions which can be connect through this port, such as Fuel sensor, Counter system,
PTZ camera, and so on.
